DRAGONS

DORNE

  • Sunfyre -  Previously King Caeron Targaryen's, Sunfyre bonded with Princess Nercissa Martell when Caeron tried to feed her to him.  Until this day, it is a mystery why the dragon chose to turn on its rider.  It is gold and white "like the sands of Dorne" (as Nercissa said upon first meeting the dragon) and said to be the biggest dragon in existence since Drogon.

  • Dreamer -  Hatched from one of the three eggs formerly in Princess Nercissa Martell's possession.  It chose Haegon Targaryen as its rider.  It is dark blue and silver.

  • (Unnamed) -  A dragon of black and red that hatched from the second of Princess Nercissa Martell's three dragon eggs.  It "chose" Oberyn Martell as its rider but it has proven to be strong willed.  Likewise, Oberyn has not yet given it a name.

  • Wildfire -  The third of the dragons hatched from Princess Nercissa Martell's dragon eggs.  It was named Wildfire  because it is mostly green and oil black.  It has not chosen a rider and is said to be as fickle as its namesake.

KING'S LANDING

  • Cannibal II -  Named for its habit of eating its siblings as a whelp.  Cannibal was offered to Daeron Targaryen by his aunt, Queen Aeda, who hoped it would eat him.  Instead, Cannibal susprisingly accepted Daeron as its rider.  To this day he believes Cannibal to be a token of the queen's affection for him, even though she refuses to speak with him.  Cannibal is gray.

  • Seafog -  Sibling of Seasmoke, it belongs to Caerys Targaryen.  It is the white and silvery blue and is roughly the same size as Cannibal.

  • Seasmoke -  Sibling of Seafog, it belonged to Caerys Targaryen's husband, Lord Aegor Targaryen of Dragonstone.  Both Seasmoke and Aegor were killed by Nercissa atop Sunfyre.  Seasmoke was gray and dark blue.

  • Quicksilver II -  Dragon of Aeden Targaryen, was said to be the smallest of its siblings but also the quickest and most loyal.  Like Aeden who would not leave his brother Aegor behind, Quicksilver perished against Sunfyre.  It was silver and agile.

  • Sunshadow -  Sunshadow is the smaller sibling of Sunfyre, once owned by Prince Aerion Targaryen who died at Hellholt.  It is said that when the young prince was slain, Sunshadow fled.  Sunshadow is unclaimed but has been spotted around Dragonstone.  Sunshadow is a deep red and gold with a matching fiery temperament.

  • Stranger -  Smaller brother of Moonglow, Stranger is the size of a pony.  It chose King Aeron Targaryen as his rider.  Stranger is olive green and copper and is said to have a hearty appetite.

  • Moonglow -  Brother of Stranger, its rider is Cael Waters and is said to be the most beautiful and elegant of living dragons.  It is white and silver and already larger than a full-sized horse.

  • Stormcloud II -  Child of Seafog, Stormcloud is black and ice blue and his dragonfire is white like thunder.  It does not yet have a rider, but Aella Targaryen hopes that it will choose her oldest son when her son is ready.

  • Misio -  A small, newborn dragon bonded with Danae Targaryen.  It is black and red, but said to be more "endearing" than frightening despite the meaning of its name (protector).

  • Starfire -  A small dragon that belongs to Rhaenys Targaryen.  Starfire is black and deep purple with bits of orange.

  • Inavva-ki-adv (Sister of Dusk) -  Inavva-ki-adv is the dragon of Aerys Targaryen.  She is the color of sunset: shades of red and bronze with gold eyes.  She is the child of Seafog and older sister of Stormcloud.

WILD DRAGONS

  • Brightscale -  Gold and beautiful, Brightscale is intelligent and majestic.  It is uncertain where this dragon came from, but he has been spotted around the Iron Islands and along the Westerland coast where he has reportedly sank ships and eaten children and small adults.  On the Iron Islands, children are warned not to wear bright colors.  He was thought to be a myth until Lord Greyjoy himself watched the dragon sink one of his flagships.  Brightscale is the size of a house and is said to be haughty and vain.

  • Aerys - A wild dragon often seen around the Vale and the Three Sisters.  According to lore, a mythical "Lord Arryn" was driven crazy by the constant fighting of Aerys and some unknown dragon until he eventually threw himself out of the Moon Door. Aerys supposedly lives in a deep underwater cavern.  Aerys is the size of a moderate keep and has been wild all of his life. He is a dull gray with purple specks, said to have plants growing on him.  His origin is unknown.

  • Blithe - Said to have been a very sprightly dragon when he was young, Blithe has been nothing  but a general menace to livestock and has even eaten alligators. He is now very grumpy and while not aggressive towards people, people are unsure if he has ever had a rider or where he comes from. Generally, he stays along the Neck, namely Moat Cailin and sometimes White Harbor, although he has been known to tip over boats in the Riverlands from time to time, and has come out during fighting (it is said he is attracted or offended by the noise).  He is the size of a moderate keep, smaller than Cannibal and Seafog, but has a fierier temperament.  It is said that Blithe has a guffawing roar-laugh that rivals the sound of thunder during storms.  He is bright orange and gold, impossible to miss and yet no one knows where his lair is.
